Acknowledgment of Land and Heritage

Chatham Park Development, in partnership with Arrow Street Development, acknowledges that 501 Indiana Avenue occupies the traditional and ancestral lands of the Miami, Potawatomi, and Shawnee peoples. We honor their enduring heritage, their profound teachings on stewardship of the earth, and their ongoing efforts to safeguard the planet for future generations.

In more recent history, this land was home to a vibrant Black community that also faced displacement. As the present stewards of this space, we recognize its layered and complex history. We are committed to honoring the communities that shaped it through respect, remembrance, and a dedication to creating a future rooted in equity and inclusivity.
